Diesel-based solvents are commonly used for cleaning pumps and flushing hoses in between frac stages, but a recent shift towards improving the environmental footprint has led to finding alternatives for mitigating the risks of spills and the handling of these harsh solvents. We offer a diesel-free hydrocarbon solvent used to flush and rinse chemical hoses and the chem-add pumps after pumping a treatment. The solvent is used to flush both water and non-water-based products such as friction reducers and gel slurries. In addition to rinsing, the product will also lubricate the pumps for their long-term performance.
